Looking for reliable smartphone monitoring software

Guys, I’m dealing with something I used to think was just paranoia, but life proved me wrong, my elderly father lives in another city, and lately he’s become very trusting sending money to random lawyers and clicking suspicious links from text messages, his health isn’t what it used to be, and his memory is getting worse, I’m genuinely worried someone might scam him out of a large amount of money or that he could simply get lost while going to the store, I tried a few free location apps, but they constantly glitch or shut off at the worst possible moment, I need something more serious a way to see his location from my phone, check call history, and understand what’s happening on his device in real time. What are you using to keep an eye on elderly parents? Preferably something that only needs to be set up once and doesn’t require constant maintenance.

Free location apps are often not designed for continuous monitoring. They can stop updating data, lose permissions after system updates, or simply run erratically in the background. In these situations, many people seek a more reliable solution that allows them to see their location, call history, and phone activity in one place.

Regular free geolocation apps are unstable. They sometimes disconnect, or require constant account access or GPS on the phone. Therefore, looking for a simpler and more reliable solution is a perfectly reasonable idea. One option is the phone location service GEOfinder . As far as I understand, it sends a message with a link, and when a user clicks it, the system can display their geolocation on a map.
