I’m an expatriate living in Jakarta. I would like to ask you about the ownership of land in Indonesia. can i own a land on a free title? (free title means not own by the state/government).

for foreigner, you cannot have a free title (In Indonesian we call it “Hak Milik”) in ownership of land in Indonesia. For foreigner there only can be “Hak Pakai” (right to use). 🙂
