I’ve tried mood tracking apps before, but I always forget to actually log my feelings. How do you make daily check-ins something you stick with instead of dropping after a week?

For me, the trick was pairing it with something I already do every day, like my morning coffee. In liven, they suggest linking check-ins to an existing habit so it becomes automatic. I also keep the questions super simple — just “How am I feeling right now?” with a quick note. Once it’s easy and connected to a routine, you barely have to think about it.

I like doing mine right before I check my morning emails. That way I don’t skip it, and it helps me start the day with a bit of awareness.

Hey, I was trying to stick to new routines too and a friend casually mentioned chicken road game as a way to make small daily breaks more fun. I started with short sessions and lost a few times, but after trying a slightly bigger strategy I hit a good win. It’s become a nice little routine for me, especially for players from Pakistan who want a quick, engaging way to unwind.
